Method to cook the Sausages
- Cook the sausages until almost cooked and remove them from the pan and slice them to a thickness you like.
- Add the mushrooms and onions to the pan and fry gently.
- Add the sliced sausages back into the pan.
- Add 1/2 jar of Beerenberg Mushroom Stroganoff Sauce along with the beef stock and combine gently.
- Let simmer until the sausages are cooked through.
- This gives you time to make the sweet potato mash.
Sweet Potato Mash Recipe & Instructions
- 1 large sweet potato peeled and diced.
- Steam in a microwave dish with the lid on for approximately 10 minutes.
- Mash with 2 teaspoons horseradish cream and a teaspoon of garlic.
- It’s time to add 2 large dessert spoons of butter and blend it well. It should be nice and creamy.
- Serve the sausages with the sweet potato mash for an easy meal. If you need more veg, serve with your favourite greens.
